Creating and collecting images is part of my daily life. I keep an ongoing collage of images in my sketchbook and in my studio. It's a mixture of sorting, stacking, drawing, paper copies, paper, wood, wire, sand, water and light. It's colors and forms pressed together, torn apart, built and rebuilt. Layers of paint and paper fragments becoming an isolated image, an open space or shapes of a surface. It's a process of continually borrowing an observed architecture and filtering it through alternate story.
