Three Windmills
Three Windmills
Wood, Paper & Metal

Each windmill is made a different size to incorporate ideas of perspective. The three windmills are entangled together creating a distorted sense of perspective. While this huddling together implies a sense of connection between the three it also limits movement of their blades and rudders. The windmills are constructed with a human scale in mind, resembling a person at different stages of growth or perhaps a man, woman and child. They have been constructed this way in hopes of evoking thoughts about family, ephemerality and distortion of memory and experience.
